Cooperation and linkages among vocational education institutions and universities are inevitable trends. The cooperation proccess helps exploit their potentials and enhance the strengths of each institution contributing to meeting various learning demands of people, training high quality human resources, scientific research and technology transfer that help solve practical problems for localities. In such a vocation education system, the community college with many advantages has had important roles and responsibilities in carrying out those activities. The article based on the cooperation model between Ca Mau Community College and Can Tho University to suggest some measures to improve the effectiveness of copperation in developing local resources in the coming years.
