Developing learning material resources for distance learning is a continuous process that requires a dedicated team of professionals from a variety of backgrounds for initial preparation for producting and compiling the learning materials, to the end of the formation of learning materials for distance learning. That means that a team of scientists involved in distance learning will be responsible for developing each module/subject. Development strategies for learning materials of each module/ subject are focused on the approach of the staffs who develop and produce learning materials, emphasize the planning requirements and the role of each member of the team making the learning materials. In addition, the effective use of learning materials in the teaching process in the form of distance training is also a concern. In this article, the author writes on how to design and develop learning materials and the effective use of learning materials for distance learning.
