The article analyses situation of distance education management for tertiary education in Mekong River Delta. Generally, efficiency of govemance od distance education has not matched with requirements in term of teacher training, self-learning management, materials and facilities management, student's feedback collection. Therefor, distance education must be more interested by managers. In this article, authors proposes solutions to improve quality of distance education for tertiary education in Mekong River Delta, namely planning, management under graduation requiments, recruitment reform, material mobility sustem establishment, Information and Technology application, test and assessment innovation and cooperation with bussinesses and organisations to generate job oppotunities for graduates.
