The paper discusses the current situation of hight school teachers’ self-training activities at Phong Dien district, Can Tho city. In effect, during the initial implementation, there have been numerous challenges and contraints including: perceiving the importance of teacher self-training, planning self-training activities, diversifying form of self-training, implementing relating regimes and policies as well as assess and evaluate teachers’ self-training activities. Accordingly, the paper proposes some solutions to support high schools in Phong Dien district, Can Tho city to improve effectiveness of their trachers’ self-training activities to fulfill current educational reform requirements.
