In education, questions are an important means to help students navigate and acquire the knowledge of the lesson. Numerous research studies have shown that when children are encouraged to ask questions and taught to ask questions while reading, their reading comprehension deepens. This article proposes a procedure to train questioning skills based on the model of skill transferring for primary school students in Vietnamese subjects, specifically in teaching reading with the implementation of some exercises. reading for grade 4 students as illustrations. The experimental results show that students' questioning skills were improved significantly, which exerted a positive impact on students' general reading skills.
