The paper aimed to evaluate digital transformation in clothes buying behavior of Generation Z in the Mekong Delta. In addition, differences of digital transformation buying behavior by difference living areas (i.e. rural, urban) were also examined. In this paper, digital transformation is understood as the process of using technology to signficantly change the way an enterprise operates to improve its efficiency, performance, and the customer experience (Venkatraman, 1994). Therefore, digital transformation buying behavior, in this paper, is defined as the buying behavior in which customers shift from offline buying to online buying. In order words, it could be defined as behavior that customers tend to choose online buying over offline buying whenever they need to buy products. The study employed data collected from directly surveying 384 Gen Z customers in Mekong Delta, Vietnam. Cronbach’s Alpha, Descriptive statistics, and Independent sample T- test were employed. The research results show that majority of Gen Z customers enjoy a combination between online and offline. GenZ customers tend to shop online once per week, using smartphones and E-commerce platforms (i.e. Lazada, Shopee, Tiki etc.). The digital transformation in buying behavior is evaluated at rather good level, yet, there are substantial potential for such transformation in the future. The study could not find signicant differences between digital transformation in buying behavior of rural and urban customers.
