This study aims to analyze the influence of determinants in attracting foreign direct investment in low-middle-income countries worldwide. The regression model is used to evaluate the impacts of determinants such as GDP, degree of openness, the consumer price index, degree of urbanization, political stability index, and environmental performance index on attracting foreign direct investment in low-middle-income countries around the world. The results show that GDP, degree of openness, and the environmental performance index have a significantly positive impact on attracting foreign direct investment in low-middle-income countries. In contrast, the degree of urbanization has a negative effect. The study could not find supporting evidence for impacts of the political stability index and the consumer price index on foreign direct investment in low-middle-income countries worldwide.
