High-rise buildings are currently expanding in tandem with our country’s economic growth. Basement parking areas are common in modern buildings, and there will be ventilation systems for the basement. However, the systems are frequently managed and ad- justed without careful control. The design and implementation of a system to support the control of a ventilation fan system in the basement based on monitoring air quality parameters such as CO, NO2, VOC, and dust are shown in this study. The gateway of the sensor network collects real-time readings of temperature, humidity, and concentration of the listed gases using LoRa wireless communication technology. The data collected by the sensors is subsequently uploaded to the Cayenne online service. This is a cutting-edge IoT platform that allows for data management and monitoring via a Web browser or an Android app. The system not only warns of dangerous levels of emissions in the basement, but it also collects data to improve building management. Experiments for several basements for parking of commercial centers in Can Tho city were conducted to assess the project’s feasibility.
