Trees, especially in crowded cities and industrial zones, are being prioritized for planting, care, and protection because they produce oxygen for human life and also absorb harmful pollutants. Even though it has not been given due attention to reducing the number of occurrences of trees uprooting unexpectedly, causing damage to human life and property. The major purpose of this pilot project is to use innovative technologies such as MEMS sensors, long- range and ultra-low-power wireless communications, and cloud database services to construct large-scale and real-time monitoring systems. The proposed system not only aids in the early detection of trees in danger of unexpected falls based on tree tilt values, but it also intends to collect environmental data for machine learning to increase the effi ciency of management tasks. To evaluate and validate the project’s feasibility, preliminary tests were conducted on several fl ame trees (Delonix regia) during the rainy season in 2021.
