Growth hormone (GH) plays an important role in growth and development because it?s direct effects on metabolism in various animal species. In this study, a single nucleotide polymorphism at nucleotide C3199T in intron 4 of the chicken growth hormone was identified and its? relationship with carcass parameters was analyzed in a population of 170 Tau Vang chickens.
