Objectives of this study were to evaluate different positions of cages keeping Hisex Brown laying hens on economic traits as well as to analyze the relation of egg weight and quality parameters of egg. A total of the 192 Hisex Brown layers were randomly allotted to the four treatments with 12 replications at commercial Hisex Brown laying hen farm belonging the Vietnam Emivest Company. Results indicated that fluctuation of internal housing temperature, humidity and gas emissions at different positions of cages affected laying rate and feed-intake in hens. Additionally, different periods of age also made changes of yolk index, albumin index and Haugh unit, while egg weight related to egg shape.
