The purpose of this study was to evaluate the people' perceptions on the cultural effects of the tourism development in the Vietnamese town of Sa Dec flowers, Dong Thap Province. This study analyzed the data and information collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The surge in tourism in the flower town of Sa Dec had both positive and bad cultural effects on the locals, but the negatives exceeded the positives. Residents were more proud of and appreciative of their traditional handicrafts and community identities, according to the findings. Locals, on the other hand, said that tourism had shattered traditional family structures, altered the design of traditional homes, and wiped out the colorful traditional flower truss. Typically, the younger generation goes to a large metropolis. The IndependentSamples Test indicated gender, living status, and tourism involvement differences in the evaluation of the cultural impact of tourism development..
