The objective of the article is to describe status quo of environmental responsible behavior of managers according to the characteristics of accommodations. Based on primary data directly surveyed from 134 top managers of 134 accommodations (including: 3 five star hotels, 6 four star hotels, 11 three star hotels, 30 two star hotels, 27 one star hotels, 29 unrated hotels, 20 guest houses/tourist motels, 5 homestays and 3 others) in Can Tho City, Vietnam, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, T-test and Anova were applied. Environmental responsible behavior of managers could be categorised into 3 groups: direct behavior, indirect behavior and general behavior. The research results showed that: (1) The group of accommodations operating less than 3 years and from 10 to 20 years has better environmental responsible behavior; (2) The group of accommodations in limited liability enterprises group has better environmental responsible behavior; (3) Large size accommodations have better environmental responsible behavior; (4) There is no difference in the level of performance in all types of behaviors between the group of chain-branded hotels and the rest and (5) Referential statistics results show that there are insignificant differences in environmental responsible behavior by characteristics of the accomodations.
