This study was conducted to analyze the difference in skills and human capital between “green” and “non-green” jobs based on survey data of 100 employees working in Can Tho city. For the skills aspect, the analysis results show that there is a difference in IT skills and foreign language skills of employees doing green and non-green jobs. Specifically, green workers have the ability to search and aggregate multiple data sources, the ability to use database programs, the ability to communicate electronically, and the ability to use specialized software being better than non-green workers. In addition, green workers have better understanding of technical terms and foreign language literacy than non-green workers. Besides, the results of testing the difference in human capital show that workers doing non-green jobs have higher work experience than workers in green jobs. Based on the research results, some policy implications have been proposed to improve and enhance the skills and human capital of workers for green jobs
