A study was carried out at the Experimental farm in Long Hoa commune, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city. The objectives of a study were to determine the optimum ME levels in diets on egg productivity and hatchability of laying hen Guinea fowls. The trial was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments corresponding with 4 diets and 3 replications. The treatments were 4 ME levels of 2700, 2800, 2900 and 3000 kcal/ kg DM feed with the same CP concentration of 19%. There were 10 birds consisting of 8 females and 2 males per experimental unit and the experimental time lasted in 16 weeks. The results showed that Guinea fowls fed the diets contained ME at levels of 2800 and 2900kcal had higher egg productivity, higher percent hen day egg production (P<0.05). However, at ME level of 2800 kcal in the diet gave higher hatchability of fertile eggs and lower feed consumption of 10 eggs (P<0.05). In conclusion that the diet had 2800kcal gave better reproductive performances and hatchability.
