Environmetal exposure together with the thermal and chemical treatments are the two main culprits behind hair damages. However, the trend of beauty in today’s society has shown that beautiful hair is healthy hair. Hence, this report is aimed to formulate a hair conditioner for the purpose of nurturing and protecting damaged hair. Previous studies in relation to the O/W base of hair conditioner lay a firm foundation for our research to incorporate an active ingredient – Amino Glycol Copolymer to maximize the qualities of hair conditioner. Specifically, this compound helps improve moisture, reconstruct damaged hair and reduce frizz caused by electrostatic friction. The process of making our hair conditioner is simple with the use of only one machine – laboratory agitator. The finished product maintains stability over time and the sensory evaluation initially shows exceptional results.
