The assessment of sustainability of farming models is important in the formulation of land use planning, especially in the agricultural sector, which calls for the need for effective evaluation methods, adaptation and sustainability of farming models. Using the method of assessing sustainability according to three economic, social and environmental objectives under the effective support of GIS technology, through Mapinfo software, with techniques for processing and analyzing data.  It has been the results of the assessment on the sustainability of the land used types for each administrative unit. Study in Hau Giang Province with promising farming models including 3 rice crops, 2 rice crops, sugarcane, pineapple, fruit trees. The results show that the sustainability of land use models is in the following order: pineapple, fruit trees, 2 rice crops, sugarcane, 3 rice crops; From the spatial data on site survey models have built sustainable maps of the types used in different administrative units. The results also laid the groundwork for agricultural planning under the sustainable development plan for farming models.
