The study presents an insightful exploration of the perceptions, attitudes, and intentions of young Vietnamese travelers towards green tourism. The study was conducted using a structured questionnaire, with 289 respondents aged 18 to 29, residing in Can Tho and planning to travel within the next 6 months. The research utilized convenience sampling, Cronbach Alpha, and descriptive statistics to achieve the research objectives. Key findings indicate that the green tourism perception garnered an average value of 4.15, signifying that respondents somewhat agree that they possess knowledge of the information and current status of green tourism. Additionally, the assessment of attitude towards green tourism yielded an average value of 4.35, indicating that respondents strongly agree that they harbor a positive attitude toward green tourism at the present time. Furthermore, the study affirms that the travel intention towards green tourism is underpinned by the fact that it is perceived to cause less environmental pollution. However, this propensity exhibits the lowest average index among the observed variables, potentially due to various underlying factors. Overall, this research sheds valuable light on the perceptions, attitudes, and intentions of young Vietnamese travelers regarding green tourism, offering meaningful insights into their preferences and predispositions towards sustainable travel practices.
