The objective of this research is to explore the indigenous culture of the Can Tho people, evaluate the preferences of tourists regarding activities that should be present in agrotourism destinations based on indigenous cultural elements, and thereby propose solutions for the development of agrotourism while preserving local culture at the destination. The study surveyed 120 tourists currently experiencing agrotourism activities in Can Tho. The research results indicate that tourists desire to participate in activities related to cultural interactions, livelihood culture, residential culture, cultural characteristics, and rural landscapes at agrotourism destinations, with a preference rate of 64,2% or higher. The study also recommends various solutions for the development of agrotourism while preserving indigenous culture at the local level.
