Teaching today has been a significant change in content and methods, learning is no longer theoretical but instead learners are practicing thinking skills, using knowledge to solve the problems. In other words, the school is interested in equipping students with problem-solving competence. The paper presents the research results on the structure of problem solving competence of Physics pedagogical students, through which lecturers can choose the teaching process and standards to evaluate this competence are exactly in the mechanics module for Physics pedagogical students.
