This study was carried out to evaluate the quality and chemical composition of eggs from 5 chicken breeds popularly in the Mekong Delta. The investigation including 500 chicken eggs such as Tau Vang, Guinea fowl, Noi, Ac and Hisex Brown eggs (100 eggs/breed), which were produced at the different chicken farms. The criteria of egg quality were consisted of egg figure index, yolk index, albumen index, yolk color and Haugh unit; chemical composition of yolk and condensed albumen including DM, OM, CP, EE and Ash were evaluated. The results of egg quality showed that egg figure index was from 0.75-0.79, with the highest value for Ac egg (Phad the highest value (Peggs was the highest concentration of CP (14.7%) and EE (31.1%) (Phad the highest DM (13.5%) and EE (0.08%) (Pbetter quality and the nutrients than the others.
