Effect of supplementation of soya waste in diets on growth rate, carcass quality and economic returns of Guinea fowls
A study was conducted to evaluate utilization of soya waste in the concentrate basal diet for growing Guinea fowls. A total of 150 Guinea fowls at 7 weeks of age were arranged in a completely randomized design with 5 treatments as 5 diets and 3 replicates, with 10 birds per experimental unit. The 5 dietary treatments were 5 soya waste supplements at levels of 0, 10, 20, 30 và 40 g fresh soya waste/ bird/day (corresponding to the BDN0, BDN10, BDN20, BDN30 and BDN40 diets, respectively), The trial lasted 8 weeks to evaluate nutrient intakes, growth rate, carcass performance and profit of Guinea fowls.
