Preliminary results of study on in vitro greenhouse gas emissions of common feeds for ruminants
A study including 2 experiments (Exp) was conducted at Can Tho University to assess the in vitro CH4 and CO2 production of different feeds for feeding ruminants. Exp 1 and Exp 2 were arranged in completely randomized designs with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments of the Exp 1 were soybean waste (SW), cassava waste (CW), copra meal (CM), corn (C) and broken rice (BR); while the treatments of the Exp 2 were cassava chip, soybean cake meal (SM), Macana pruriens, para grass (Bracharia mutica) and rice straw (RS).
