The purpose of article is to assess the status of the community participation and the factors affecting community participation in ecotourism activities at Tan Loc islet, Can Tho city after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study conduct by document research, field surveys and questionnaires. The research results indicate that there are five influenced factors of community participation such as economic benefits, social capital, local resources, local authority policy and impacts of Covid-19 on tourism. Based on the aforementioned, the paper put forward several solutions to enhance the residents’ participation in ecotourism development in this area.
