The Emerald Buddha is the most important Royal Temple in which was built in the region of the Grand Palace by King Rama I in 1782 AD. It is recognized as a religious symbol of the Dynasty and has been used as the side for Royal ceremonies. In this Temple, the religious complexity uniquely showed in two main religions – Hinduism and Buddhism. This study aims to analyse the religious meaning via art and architecture of this Temple. Additionally, this paper would try to provide a better understanding about this Temple’s outstanding value.
