While the coronavirus has penetrated different countries with varying intensity, responding to the crisis has presented an unprecedented challenge to most governments. Numerous new regulations have quickly been issued, and people are requested to follow them to minimize the damage caused by SAR-CoV-2. However, governments in many countries have faced public opposition when implementing the new regulations. But many others have made epidemic control and prevention measures more favorable thanks to their political communication activities. This paper focuses on these activities in some countries and in Vietnam during the COVID-19 pandemic.
