Disease-reducing effects of the 6-month formulations of Serratia nematodiphila CT-78 against rice bacterial leaf blight under field conditions
This study aimed at testing for the disease-reducing effects of the 6-month formulations of the antagonistic Serratianematodiphila CT-78 against rice bacterial leaf blight (Xanthomonasoryzae pv. oryzae) under field conditions. Experiments were carried out during the wet and dry seasons of 2019-2020 where three formulations composed of rice bran, rice husk and talc powder were tested. Rice seeds were treated with the formulations and pathogen inoculation was done at 45 days after sowing. The effects were shown and maintained until 15 days after pathogen inoculation by all formulations.
