Supply chain management (SCM) has been studied and applied in different sectors. One of the most popular scopes of research is lean supply chain management (LSCM). This has been progressively utilized in various industrial supply chains; among them, the aquaculture supply chain is a viralsubject. For thisfield of economicsin Vietnam, the shrimp supply chain plays a vital role, compared with other supply chains, because of its value added in exports and creating job opportunities for laborers. This paper presents some tendencies in LSCM and observations in this area. This paper has conducted a systematic literature review and a statistical approach to study the current state of the shrimp supply chain in Vietnam. Even though SCM has been under discussion over the past few years, it has contributed very little to the shrimp industry, especially in the Mekon58g Delta, Vietnam. Sustainable development must assess environmental and social responsibility and economic efficiency seriously and objectively. Hopefully, future work could contribute to creating a sustainable supply chain
