A comparative study was conducted to evaluate the apparent digestibility methods of amino acids and nutrients on growing Guinea fowls at 10 weeks of age. The experiment was a completely randomized design with three treatments and five replications. The treatments were total tract, caecetomised, and ileal digestibilities. The results showed that the apparent EE digestibility and nitrogen retention of intact birds were resemble with those of caecetomised birds (P>0,05). However, the apparent digestibility coefficients of CF, NDF and ADF were higher for the intact birds as compared to those of the caecetomised birds (P0,05).
