An experiment aimed at determining the effects of lysine and methionine levels in diets on the growth performance, quality of caracass and economic returns of growing guinea fowls from 5 to 14 weeks of age, was conducted in the Mekong delta. The experiment was a completely randomized design experiment with 6 treatments and 3 replicates for each treatment. From 5 to 8 weeks of age, treatments consisted of two diets having 20% and 17% CP without lysine and methionine supplementation; 4 other diets having 17%CP with lysine and methionine supplementated to the diets to reach lysine and methionine levels of 1,10 – 0,45;1,10 – 0,55; 1,40 – 0,45% và 1,40 - 0,55%, respectively. From 9 to 14 weeks of age, treatments consisted of two diets containing 18% and 15% CP without lysine and methionine supplementation; 4 others having  15% of CP level,  with lysine and methionine supplemented to reach lysine and methionine levels of 0,90 - 0,40; 0,90 - 0,50; 1,20 – 0,40 và 1,20 - 0,50%, respectively. Results showed that 5-8 week old chicken fed the diet containing 20%CP, without lysine and methionine  supplementation had similar dailyweight gain, live weight and feed conversion ratio (FCR) to those fed the diets contained 17% CP, supplemented with 1.40% lysine and 0.55% methionine. 9-14 week old chicken fed the diet containing 18%CP without lysine and methionine supplementation gave similar daily weight gain, final live weight, FCR with those fed diets contained 15% CP, supplemented with 1.20% lysine and 0.50% methionine. It could be concluded that growing Guinea fowls from 5 – 8 and 9  -14 week of age fed the diets containing 17% CP, 1.40% lysine, 0.55% methionine and 15% CP,1.20% lysine, 0.50% methionine had the highest daily weight gain, final live weight, carcass quality and  better profits.
