This study investigates the lecturers’ expectations about implementing critical thinking in educating the geography pedagogy students at Cantho University (CTU). Due to the research findings, the participants are facing some difficulties in their employing critical thinking. Furthermore, the participants have also held some reasonable expectations which are related to the student habits and perceptions, class size, the school time/hours, and the school facilities. Due to the emerged problems as well as the participants’ expectations, it seemed that their most concern was about the student habits and perceptions in education.
