Artemia culture according to traditional method causes polluted environment, not available and content a lot of pathogen for larval aquatic animal due to loading a lot of organic manure into culture system. In 2003, the birth flu (H5N1) outbreak in Vietnam that effect directly in human health and Artemia culture farming. The research objectives are to evaluate alternative ability to replace chicken manure by fishmeal to detect the possible presence of Vibrio spp., with the aim to increase quality of Artemia production in term of production of bacteria-free Artemia products (i.e. cyst and biomass). The experiment consisted of 2 treatments with 3 replicates each, including different fertilizer and organic manures: urea, DAP, chicken manure and fishmeal under laboratory condition. Survival rate and growth rate of Artemia, and water quality such as pH, temperature, salinity were obtained every weeks. Vibrio spp. appearance in water, biomass and cyst of Artemia were taken for the last 3 weeks will be discussed. .
