This research determined the suitable feed for population growth of Brachionus plicatilis. There were two experiments. The first experiment included of five treatments with three replicates each: i.e. bread yeast, Frippak (shrimp larvae feed), Artemia feed, Ami-Ami and S.parkle (rotifer feed), respectively. Rotifers were culture in 1L bottle with the density of 200 ind./mL, aeration and water exchange 30%/day in volume. Feed quantity was calculated following standard formula for rotifer (Suantika, 2000). Feeding rate were 8 times per day. The rearing conditions included temperature 25-28 °C, pH range from 7.8 to 8.3. In the second experiment, four treatments were studied to determine quantity of S. parkle when compared with standard formula at 80, 100, 120, and 140 % in quantity. Results showed that in, the maximal density of rotifers in S. parkle treatment was 911 ± 13 ind./mL after 5 days of culture in the first experiment. Besides, rotifers were fed 120% of standard feeding formula had the highest density (1,099 ± 44 ind./mL) and significantly differences to the others.
