White leg shrimp is cultured in intensive system with two treatments, they are combined with tilapia and without tilapia. The purpose of study is to evaluate water quality fluctuation and yield of shrimp culture on these treatments. The study was carried out from May to August, 2014 at Phu Tan commune, Tan Phu Dong didtrict, Tien Giang province. The study was conducted on 3 ponds of white leg shrimp with tilapia and 3 ponds without stocking tipalia, environmental parameters was focused as: temperature, pH, salinity, transparency, hardness, alkalinity, DO, COD, TSS, NH3, PO4, NO2, NO3, TN and TP. There was six times of sampling, twice per month. Results found that water quality of two treatments are appropriate for shrimp growth. However, transparency, hardness, PO4, TN and TP in both of treatments were higher standard water quality for shrimp culture.
