Research provides information on the current situation of teaching management for 10th-grade students by teachers in some high schools in Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city. The research results show that the teaching staff has a high awareness of the importance of managing the teaching activities of 10th-grade Biology according to the 2018 General Education Program (4.655 ± 0.538). In addition, the management of teaching activities for 10th-grade Biology is performed well (4.291 ± 0.848). However, there are still two areas that need attention for improvement, including directing professional development (3.773 ± 1.152) and managing the use of teaching resources for 10th-grade Biology (3.636 ± 1.177). Some high school teachers are not satisfied with the method of directing professional development, as it heavily relies on pre-recorded video training and online submissions. Therefore, some high school teachers would like to have direct training sessions to be able to interact, provide feedback, acquire indepth knowledge, and practice more, so that all teachers can participate in creating products, receiving feedback from experts, and engaging in consistent professional development. The article emphasizes the important role of support, training, and monitoring from educational administrators to ensure the successful implementation of the 2018 General Education Program. At the same time, the article provides recommended solutions to enhance the management of teaching activities for 10th-grade Biology and improve the quality of instruction. These solutions contribute significantly to achieving the educational objectives of the 2018 General Education Program.
