This research aims to evaluate current situation of online L’Oréal cosmetics purchases by young people in Can Tho City, Vietnam. In this study, young people are those aged 18 to 29 years old. In total, structure questionnaire was employed as the tool for data collection using survey method. Convenience sampling method was employed. The study has revealed that the usage of L'Oréal cosmetics online is quite high among young people, with 325 out of 339 respondents surveyed having purchased L'Oréal cosmetics online. Young people are more familiar with information technology, and they express themselves through online purchase in alignment with current lifestyle trends. Furthermore, the preferred platforms to purchase among the youth in Can Tho city are Shopee (42%) and TikTok Shop (32.8%), indicating that efforts to impact brand ambassador influence could be concentrated on these platforms. Additionally, the skincare product is favored by 40.8% of respondents, reflecting the popularity of the "Skinimalism" trend, a natural development of the “no makeup” style that has long been prevalent and contributes to sustainability by encouraging supply reduction and demand moderation.
