Film-induced tourism has had significant contribution in tourism industry around the world. Reality show has significantly impacted tourism promotion across various international destinations. In Vietnam, the reality show entitled '2 Days 1 Night' has garnered immense popularity, attracting millions of viewers. This study aims to assess the perceptions of young audiences regarding tourism destinations featured in season 1 of the show. Young audiences are selected based on preliminary research, which indicates that the majority of '2 Days 1 Night' viewers are predominantly young, comprising 68.18% of the total audiences. Structured questionnaire was employed via direct surveys with 300 young viewers of the show to collect data for this study. The findings reveal that one of the primary motivations for viewers to watch the show is to explore tourist destinations. Moreover, the research finds a strong desire among young audiences to visit the Central and Northern Vietnam destinations showcased in the show. The audience highly appreciates the natural beauty, cultural uniqueness, and diverse cuisine of these featured locations. However, the study also highlights a tendency among viewers to underestimate the range of entertainment offerings at these destinations, suggesting that the production team may not have fully captured via the show the available entertainment resources that visitors can experience. This presents an opportunity for future enhancements to the show's representation of the full spectrum of entertainment options at the featured destinations.
