Larvae of white leg shrimp were reared in the 7 m3 cement tanks at density of 300 larvae L-1 and at salinity of 30 g L-1. Bacteria were supplemented every three days at a rate of 106 CFU g-1 during larval rearing. Results showed that addition of probiotic bacteria in the culture tanks helped to improve water quality as well as survival and growth of L. vannamei larvae were significantly higher (pLactobacillus sp. gave better results compared to other probiotic bacteria.
