The promotion of the application of advanced technology in foreign language assessment is a growing demand in education. This article proposes some evaluation tools to promote digital transformation in educational evaluation. The objective is to provide greater access to comprehensive French language proficiency evaluation including all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The Embedded Answers (cloze) feature in the Quiz module of Moodle helps the test composers create closed or open-ended questions, and question banks for all four skills in random order. In particular, the test composers can combine such tools as text-to-speech applications, Microsoft PowerPoint to transfer texts to videos, HTML codes to create simulative oral tests. The results of this experiment on vietmoc.net show the positive feedback from the learners, demonstrating the effectiveness of these simulated tests
