Nowadays, foreigners have been increasingly come to Vietnam to live and work due to the integration, so the demand for learning Vietnamese to serve their communication has also increased. Learning Vietnamese of foreigners is not only to know and use Vietnamese, but also through learning Vietnamese to understand more about Vietnamese people and cultural expressions reflected in Vietnamese. Teaching Vietnamese to foreigners is actually spreading Vietnamese culture. Teaching Vietnamese to foreigners in Vietnam or abroad has certain difficulties such as teachers, learners, textbooks, methods  and so on. This article aims to point out the difficulties of teaching Vietnamese in the current period, then propose some solutions to improve the teaching and learning Vietnamese for foreigners in the current trend.
