The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of rice-producing farmers in Kien Giang Province. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was applied to analyze indicators of technical efficiency, allocative efficiency, and cost efficiency. Besides, the scale efficiency of rice farmers is also evaluated and compared in this study. Research data were collected from 250 rice farmers in the following districts of Kien Giang Province, Tan Hiep, Hon Dat, and An Bien. Research results indicate that rice farmers in Kien Giang achieved technical efficiency at a good level, while allocative efficiency and cost efficiency are at an average level. The results also showed that the majority of farmers obtained petty high scale efficiency, some of them got the optimum efficiency in scale.
