Three compounds including: 5,6-dihydrophysalin B (1), physalindicanol A (2) and hesperidin (3) were isolated from Physalis angulata L. collected at Dong Thap province. The structure of these compounds were elucidated base on their data of NMR and MS, as well as comparison with published literatures. This research has contributed to the phytochemical examination of Physalis angulata L. in Vietnam with the first isolation of three compounds.
