Effects of some culture conditions on growth and endospore production of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Ba-1The study aimed to find out effect of some culture factors on the population development and the endospore production of B. amyloliquefaciens Ba-1, served for production of biological products. The experiment was arranged in completely randomized design, 4 repeations. The results showed that the Ba-1 reached the highest density (7.19 x 109 cells/ ml) after 5 days under continuous shaking, percentage of endospores was highest (98.97%) after ten days of incubation period, with bacterial density was 2.38 x 109 CFU / ml (200 ml King's B medium, 135 rpm). Bacterial cultures of B. amyloliquefaciens required an initial pH of 6.5-7.0, reaching the highest density of 3.02 x109 CFU/ ml in pH of 7.0 after 2 days of incubation and maintaining until 7 days of incubation, in time this pH was regulated to nearly neutral (7.37-7.73). High degree of aeration (150 and 200 rpm of shaking) induced higher density of bacteria than which of slower ones. The percentage of endospores increased over time, reaching 72.55-93.62% after seven days incubated with medium of initial pH of 6.5. Key words: antibacterial activity, Bacillus, bacterial blight, biocontrol.
