The research investigated 180 Sabeco salesforces at 13 branches in the Mekong Delta region to determine the influence of job stress on the work performance of salesforces. The descriptive statistics, the Cronbach’s Alpha reliability testing, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and multivariable linear regression analysis methods were used in this research. The results showed that there is a negative impact of job stress components on work performance including Overworked workload, Time pressure, Pressure to build relationships with customers, Pressure from superiors, Lack of support from colleagues, and Perceived income. The research contributed and enriched the evidence and theory about the relationship between job stress and work performance. The paper gave some recommendations to reduce job stress and improve the work performance of salesforces.
