This article describes a research project on the use of cultural heritages in the Mekong Delta in teaching history to high school students in Ho Chi Minh City. In which, we focus on in-depth research, identify a number of cultural heritages in the Mekong Delta that need to be exploited and used in history teaching and propose pedagogical measures to use cultural heritage in teaching. internal course of Vietnamese History lessons from origin to 1918 in accordance with the program. At the same time, conduct pedagogical experiments to test the feasibility of the research problem. From the research results, it can be confirmed that the use of cultural heritage in history teaching is an effective measure to innovate teaching methods, diversify forms of organization of history teaching, create interest for students to contribute to improving the quality of history teaching and learning in high schools today.
