Utilization of filling materials replacing for cement has been a state-in-the-art principle of manufacturing the high workability mortar/concrete. The aim of the current study is at investigating the beneficial effect of using dolomite powder (DP) to enhance the properties of self-compacting mortar (SCM) with high volume low calcium Class F fly ash (HVFA) cement. Experimental results showed that addition of DP partially replacing for FA improved the workability of the modified HVFA SCMs. In addition, the HVFA SCMs modified with adjusted amount of DP had remarkable improvement of the compressive strengths from 7 days of curing.
