Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) is a method that is being undertaken by many businesses to improve their existing business operations. The aim of this method is to eliminate unnecessary non-value-added (NVA) waste by radically redesigning organizational processes. BPR should be integrated with another approach, Workflow Process Re-engineering (WPR). The coordination in the organization is not effective due to the unreasonable structure; moreover, a well-designed organizational structure will enable the business to use the information effectively. The results of this study show that many effects identified for the simulation BPR’s model in the private sector are equally relevant to the success of all departments’ processes. The approach is validated through the application to a case study of the textile and apparel company. Furthermore, opportunities for aid improvement are discussed.
