The study provides information on the demand for training in the undergraduate natural
science teacher education training program (NSTETP) in the Mekong Delta. This research was
performed using the cross-section model combing with quantitative research. The study analysis results
show that managers, recruiters, and lecturers stated that it is necessary to open the UNSTETP at 52.4%
and 33.3% for very necessary and necessary options, respectively. In addition, the survey results on
the job opportunity “recruitment demand for graduates from the NSTETP” is expected to grow for all
participants’ idea. Of the total number of students surveyed, 17 answered “yes”, accounting for 16.7%,
and will study this major in the future. But this also shows a positive signal that students interested in the
field of education can learn about UNSTETP even though this field is not as popular in the Mekong Delta
testing, as Teacher Education in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, and so on
