Isolation anf evaluation the ability of Mekong  Delta?s bacteriophage in killing Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. There were 7 bacteriophages were isolated from 24 bacterial leaf blight disease samples from 5 provinces of Mekong Delta, in which phage P-KG4 isolated from Kien Giang showed highest bacterial cell lysis abilitywith plaque diametter 15.5 mm at 60 hours after inoculation

Testing parasitic ability of bacteriophage on beneficail bacteria. The experiment was conducted on the beneficial bacteria such as Pseudomonas sp. 12, Bacillus sp. 18, Bacillus sp. 80, Pseudomonas 119, Pseudomonas sp. 151, Pseudomonas sp. 187. All tested  bacteriophages did not express  any lysis  ability to these benefical bacteria
