The research is aimed to assess the variation of soil types in 2017 compared to 2008. The study method was used, data collection and geographic information system (GIS). The results showed that there are a lot of change between soil map in 2017 and 2008. In which, the Cambisols group (60,368.33 hectares) converted to Gleysols group (44,273.01 hectares) and Anthrosols (16,095.32 hectares). The Gleysols increased by 50,908.51 hectares and the Anthrosols increased by 3,459.82 hectares. The change of soil groups is mainly due to the improvement of the classification system WRB, changing of farmer’s cultivation techniques, changing of natural conditions and present land use.
